Happy Thanksgiving 2011!

Yesterday was Thanksgiving! We got to see almost all of our family, and we had a ton of fun! We went to my mom's side of the family first. We ate a lot of food, had laugh attacks with the cousins, watched the little ones play outside together, and the adults enjoyed each others company.

Before Thanksgiving, my grandma was hoping for a big family picture. Everyone said they would be stopping by sometime through out the day so towards the end before everyone headed home we took a few!

One big crazy family. 10 adults (grandma&grandpa + 4 kids & spouses) 19 grandchildren (16 yrs. - 22 months)

It was also Scout's Birthday! He turned 6 years old - I can't believe it! Our little man was born on Thanksgiving 6 years ago, and now this was his first birthday where it actually landed on Thanksgiving again! We called him our little turkey! :) So we got to celebrate in the morning with a few presents, and then later we celebrated with lots of family.

Happy Birthday to me!

Three days ago I turned 15! :)

It was a blast! I wore a birthday sash to school, and got so many wishes for my birthday! I felt so blessed with so many great friends and family!

On Saturday I got to go shopping with my sister Erin, and my mom! We had a blast! Spent the whole day out together!

On Sunday I went to church then I headed with my grandma to pick up my cousin Anna for a lunch and shopping date! We had a blast hanging out! It's crazy trying to get us together! Anna and I only about 13 months apart lead very busy lives! :)

Monday was my actual birthday, and it was probably one of the best birthdays ever! Even at school...

That night I started Drivers Ed. It was so much fun! I've survived four days of it so far. That night one of my most amazing babysitters was there, and we got soup, cake, and ice cream! :) (don't worry she doesn't babysit me anymore)

I got 2 new coats! One from my grandma and one from my mom and dad! And... GUESS WHAT?! I got 4 NEW PAIRS OF SHOES!

ValleyFair

So this is blog post #1 of one of the most awesome summer 2011 memories ever! I had such a blast at ValleyFair with 3 of my closest cousins, my grandparents, and my sister Erin. We arrived at about 11:00 a.m. and stayed until closing; 10:00 p.m. It was incredible!! Here are some pictures!

The weather was perfect! About 85F and sunny! We enjoyed 'The Wave' which you saw as one of the rides to cool us off. It was fun, but verrryy cold. We're dare-devils. We love challenges so our favorite rides included some of the scariest roller-coasters there. Pure energy. [Seriously! I had half a cappuchino and then went on one of the highest rides and then after wards I was jumping on benches, screaming, laughing, dancing, and singing. Who does that? Well me I guess. haha] The 'Ferris Wheel' is always going to be a favorite, because we can enjoy it with our grandparents. Who -- let me remind you, are in their late fiftes - early sixties and still are able to walk around and enjoy the day with their 5 preteen/teenage granddaughters for about 12 hours! Talk about the best family ever!

We stayed until dark, and can't wait for next year - hopefully! It was an incredible day, and I loved every minute of it!

Thanks Grandma, Grandpa, Anna, Bethany, Caycee, and Erin for a day I'll never forget! I love you all!
