Finally

My header finally uploaded, and so now my blog doesn't look so boring...

It's finally the weekend! Going to have a lot of fun... Got a lot planned!

Finally, I don't have to worry about homework because we have an extra day in the weekend.

I finally finished cleaning the house today! Feels good to get a lot accomplished!

I finally got some new nail polish to do my nails! (Thank you mom!)

The sun is finally shining today, so hopefully the weather will be just right! So excited to hang out with some friends.

School Update

Hey everyone! It's only been about 4 days since my last update, so I think I'm ok! :)

Thought I'd update you on school for now; it's been a while since I've talked about school.

Anyway the homework is sometimes overwhelming. Some days I feel defeated and think I have no clue. (haha I've realized that most of those answers are in the text book.)

My friends are amazing! The people are average, the girls are super nice, and the boys... well I'll just say that they will always be boys. the end. Of course I haven't met everyone yet (obviously) and so I'm sure I'll have a ton more friends by the end of the year.

The teachers are all pretty nice. Not too strict, but yet they can be a little bit. In my Composition class this week, our teacher failed the whole class on the same paper, and so now we all have to redo them. Super frustrated.

Last weekend was really nice, since it was a four-day weekend due to the MEA teacher conference. Weekends are usually meant for homework in my life.

Happy because we have tomorrow off, and I barely have any homework! I'll probably finish it all tomorrow, so I can have a fun weekend! (which is jam-packed by the way)

No locker troubles anymore. (Thank you Lord!) My "locker buddy" is an 8th grader and we tend to shut each others lockers just for fun. lol don't worry neither of us have been late to any classes yet.

The lunches are usually ok, or completely "BLAH". haha but I'm not a picky eater at all. I can tell most of my friends are. :)

Science, Language, and Composition have probably been the most fun this week... Yes it usually changes weekly! Don't judge me, it's probably the same for you.

OK I'M DONE NOW. lol I'll stop boring you to death. :) Here's a quote for the day!

Fall Pictures 2011

This past weekend my best friend, Beka, came over and we took some pictures. It was a lot of fun and we definitely made some memories! My sister, Erin, also took some with us and these are my favorites.

Fall Fling 2011 (Part 2)

Now I'm here to tell you all about my favorite parts of Fall Fling! (plus some more pictures) 

Here are some of my favorite things about this weekend.
1. The cabin I stayed in. Plus the girls I shared it with were really fun and we made a lot of memories!

2. All the time we got to hang outside, take walks, and just be in God's beautfiul creation. I will say though.. it was freezing! (Especially when you decide to throw on flip-flops at night)

3. Our amazing youth pastor who had a blast, no matter how much we drove him crazy! :)

4. The flag football tournaments that we played in!! I was super fun and we all played really well together.

5. When I played 500 (football game) with the guys after dinner one day. Sure one of my fingers swelled up, I ended up on the ground more than once, and I didn't throw the ball correctly every time but it was FUN!

6. Our speaker for the weekend! His name was Daniel Wallace, but we all called him Ambush... Or as he told us - Amboooosh :)
7. In chapel on Saturday night we got glow sticks, and had a blast with sticking them in our hair and whatever else. Then afterwards a part of our group just hung out and played with them in the dark. It was a really fun night!
8. The car rides... Yes even though they were loud and crazy and we were a bit squished it was entertaining!

9. The Bible verses that we got to learn - I think Ambush said them about 3 times or more every single time in chapel. But they stuck with us and we learned a lot.
10. I'd have to say my very favorite part would have to be the memories I made - because those are the little things that I will never forget.

No matter what happens those memories will always be there. Fall Fling will always be my favorite and I always wish the weekend was longer. It's such a blast!

Breathe

 Today I took a breath... and let it out.

I felt like there was nothing in this world that could make my life better.

No school. Awesome friends. Long break. Family time.

What could be better about that?

All I have to say is...

God is amazing! All I have to do is lean on Him with any trouble or question at all, and He's there to answer it.

A Monday already Gone...

Yesterday was Monday. It's gone. It's history.
The day was pretty fun, and exciting. It went by really fast.
Today is Tuesday, and tomorrow is Wednesday.

My dad got off work early to pick the four of us up from school yesterday.
I love it when he picks us up. In his little car, riding down the road.
There's something that feels different, and fun. Almost like....
Freedom.

We're all off to school this morning, as my dad will be going with
me to a field trip... to a college fair. Should be interesting. 
My mom is going to see one of my brothers get an award!

It's going to be a quick week! With that... I am very grateful!
